Tuesday 16th April the frames for the skeet houses which had been premade and stored at John & Alan Beavers,were transported up to the park on John & Alans truck,as it was a wide load Lindsay escorted it.Bob,Brendan,David & Warwick also assisted,and got absolutely soaked in the pouring rain.

Colin and Tom have done so much in the last few weeks,true tradesmen,they have been working on the decking around the office,Bob has been putting up partitions in the toilets,Grant has got trap 4 ready for concrete,all trap house block work is finished and the grass is on the move after the fertiliser was spread,Selwyn has painted the office and the toilets,electrician has wired trap 4 and lights in the office and toilets all go.

November 4th Update.....Major progress in the last 2 weeks,all skeet house foundations have been dug and poured,most skeet pads have been poured,No.3 trap house and lanes have been finished.No4 trap house floor has been laid.Block layers are booked for skeet house bases Wed. of next week.No 4 lanes are boxed ready for poring ..Gib board is all up in the club house,Gib stoppers due Tuesday next week.Fence finished behind containers. 




16 October..Finally some dry weather to get the concrete truck on the grounds,a good turn out of members saw the lanes for trap 3 finished and the floors for traphouses 3 & 4 poured.
The foundations for the first skeet houses have been dug and the gib board for the clubhouse extension walls was unloaded into the clubhouse,a fence is nearly completed from the clubhouse along the back of the containers.
The painting of the clubhouse exterior has been completed by Selwyn Gates.
It looks fantastic and we owe a big thank you to Selwyn for this generous effort to the association.
Thank you also to Pam for the pikelets for morning tea.

August Updates...
Power is getting closer,we have a transformer and the cabling is being laid to connect the trap and skeet houses and the clubhouse.

The railway wagon from Kaitemako Rd has arrived,its temporarily on blocks until its dry enough to get it onto its foundations down the eastern end of the grounds.After a waterblast,it will be used to store the sporting clays equipment.

27/6..   Terry and Gordon made the building water tight today just a few cosmetic jobs to finish off,well done Guys battling the elements.The electrician began the wiring today pre gib. Gene going well with outside facia.

Serious progress now being made,fences going up,drains ready to lay,end in sight for the earthworks.
Volunteers...The Club is nearly ready to start doing all the jobs we need your help with.
Club members,family,friends or anyone who is willing to help is welcome.











17/12 Latest Update...heavy rain this week has brought all earthworks to a stop...it is so wet that its going to need some time to dry out,the bulldozers go on holiday next week and work wont start again until January 9th...weather permitting of course.
The shifting of the clubhouse has also been put back until Feb 13th...as...due to the wet weather we've got nowhere to put it.
Surveying has revealled TECT Park is at a higher elevation than the top of the Kaimai Rd.

December update,photos below show the perimeter track being formed by Aidan in the digger.As soon as its finished fencing can start.
